These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of this website, which is operated by KG Construction (“KG,” “we,” “us”). By using the website, or by checking the box to agree when you submit a quote request, you accept these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website. You can still call or email us.

About us

KG Construction is a general contractor licensed by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), license #1128938, classifications B (General Building Contractor) and C-8 (Concrete Contractor). We are bonded and insured. You can check any contractor’s license at cslb.ca.gov.

A quote request is not a contract

Submitting a quote request, receiving a reply, or receiving an estimate does not create a contract or any obligation for you or for us. An estimate is our good-faith assessment based on what we know at the time, and it can change after we see the site or learn more.

Work begins only after you and KG both sign a written contract. For home improvement projects, that contract will include the terms and notices California law requires (including Business and Professions Code section 7159), such as your right to cancel where it applies. If a signed contract conflicts with these Terms, the contract controls.

Project descriptions, photos and examples on this website show the kind of work we do. They aren’t offers or guarantees of price, schedule or results for your project.

What you send us

When you submit a request, attach files or send feedback, you agree that:

• The information is accurate, and you’re allowed to share any plans, photos or documents you attach.
• We may use what you send to evaluate your project, prepare an estimate and communicate with you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You won’t send anything unlawful, harmful or infected with malware, or sensitive details such as Social Security or bank account numbers.

Electronic communications and agreement

You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, by email and on this website, about your request. Checking the box to agree to these Terms counts as your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper, under the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. You can ask us for a paper copy of these Terms at any time.

Reviews and testimonials

If you send us feedback and allow us to publish it, you give KG permission to show your review and the name you chose on this website and in our marketing, free of charge. We may fix typos and translate it between English and Spanish, but we won’t change what you meant. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

Our content

The website’s text, photos, videos, logo and design belong to KG Construction or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t copy, modify or republish our content for commercial use without written permission.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• Use the website for anything unlawful, or send spam or false requests
• Try to access the admin area, other people’s information, or our systems without permission
• Interfere with the website’s operation, security or spam protection, or upload malware
• Copy content from the website in bulk with automated tools (scraping)
• Pretend to be someone else

Links to other websites

Links to other sites, such as Instagram, Yelp, HomeAdvisor, the Better Business Bureau, YouTube and the CSLB, are provided for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. General information on the website isn’t professional advice for your specific project. That advice comes from a site visit and a written estimate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, KG won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim about the website itself is limited to $100. This section doesn’t limit our responsibilities under a signed construction contract, or any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California, unless a signed contract between us says otherwise.

Spanish translation

We offer these Terms in Spanish for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the English version controls.

Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, we change the “Last updated” date above. The version in effect when you submitted a quote request applies to that request; each request records which version you agreed to.

General

If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these Terms right away doesn’t mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
